The builders all finished on Friday 18th December, but to be honest work started to slow down once we entered December the the weather changed to non stop rain!
It's odd at the moment as we can see the finish line, but there is still so much to do! We are hoping to be in for Easter, but with the world the way it is at the moment we are trying to temper our excitement.

The last few weeks saw all the plastering completed, a spray coat of paint throughout the ground floor and a second coat upstairs.
We visit site most days and the view from these windows still distract us. As well as the view you can also see the skirting for downstairs getting it's first coat of pain.

Second coat of paint and wow it's feel so different. Ever room (except the Utility) is light and bright which is exactly what we wanted.
The wall have started to get their slate "hats".
Stone around the garage got a good clean by Jim and looks even more beautiful, if that is possible. When the garage doors go in and the driveway is paved I think the stone will stand out even more.
Starting to see sanitary ware go in in Bed 4's ensuite. Still no water connected, but expect that to happen early in the New Year.
Our master bath arrived, all 180kg of it!! Unfortunately it needs to stay in it's crate for the moment as the tiling in the master bathroom is yet to be done. Bathroom sanitary ware purchasing has been a nightmare, but Lusso have been amazing to work with and definitely a supplier I would highly recommend.
Despite the world being in limbo, we started to get a bit Christmassy. Even managed a trip out of Cornwall for some Christmas shopping, but to be honest it was so weird we just couldn't get in the mood and so got back in the car and came home. Luckily we have had some lovely dry days and so have managed to get out and walk on our lovely north Cornish coast paths.
The famous trees that signal we are coming home to Cornwall.....

Master Bath waiting for it tiles. Vanity and all light fittings have arrived. Can't wait to see this room come together.
Tiling starting to go down in the Kitchen/Dining/Snug and Utility. Looks so good and transforms the rooms yet again.
All locked up now until the New Year.
